Order Description

This is a report for a course called ‘Forecasting’,which is an elective course based on Economics. The report requires the application of forecasting tools learnt in class to real-time data (we learnt, regression model, ARIMA model,VaR and GARCH,METASTOCK lab, Datamining and NEural NEtworks).

Here is the guidance from the lecturer:
1.Write up your findings in a report of around 2000 words.
Marks wil be awarded for technical merit in the choice and application of forecasting tools, and for
artistic impression – meaning initiative and creativity, and the readability and coherence of the report.
2. Tourism
Tourism is an important source of revenue for the UK, but UK citizens also like to travel abroad.
Develop an appropriate methodology, gather relevant data, and make forecasts of monthly number
of tourists entering and leaving the UK, and the amount of money they spend, for the next 18
months.
