Presentation Overview:
1. Identify and explain the case’s issue related to juvenile justice.
2. Conduct a legal history of the case (this is just your mini legal brief).
3. Present opposing viewpoints
4. Providing an opinion piece about your feelings towards the issue.

Presentation Details:
1. Researchable Issue
• Should explain why this issue is important (Statement of the Problem)
o This should require reviewing scholarly literature related to the topic. It should not be based on your opinion.
2. Legal History
• Identify and explain your assigned court case.
o Include the components of a case brief (as submitted in class) for the case presented in this section.
o Be sure to explain the court’s rationale.
3. Opposing Viewpoints
• Present a summary of the types of opposition presented in the dissenting opinions of the case in the previous section. If there is no dissenting opinion, project what opposition might posit.
4. Opinion Piece
• After conducting your research, explain, in detail, how you feel about the issue.
• Discuss the implications the court case has or might have on criminal/juvenile justice policy decisions.
