WHAT NEED DOES THE PRODUCT FULFILL? HOW DOES THIS FIT WITH THE REST OF YOUR PRODUCT LINE? HOW DOES IT FIT WITH YOUR TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES?
4. Provide a detailed assessment of the market opportunities, relevant trends, competitive analysis, and findings from market research.
WHAT IS THE TARGET MARKET FOR THE INNOVATION? WHAT SALES FORECAST MIGHT BE POSSIBLE? HOW DOES THE PRODUCT STAND UP TO COMPETITIVE OFFERINGS?
5. Describe the major requirements for the product.
WHAT TASKS MUST BE DONE? DESIGN? MATERIALS AND PARTS REQUISITIONING? PROTOTYPE (ALPHA TEST) DEVELOPMENT? IN-HOUSE TESTING? REGULATORY COMPLIANCE?
6. Explain your game plan. Map out a framework. Answer the why question.

The development of your project should parallel the course material. You should include as many concepts, techniques etc. as possible.
