“Examine the ways in which the historical and political contexts of the early nineteenth century inform the work of at least TWO Victorian authors studied on this module”
I would like you to use Anne Bronte’s “The tenant of Wildfell Hall” and George Bernard Shaw’s “Mrs Warren’s Profession”.
The essay also needs to make reference to one piece of work from the romanticism period. For this I would like you to use William Blake’s “Songs of Innocence and of Experience”
I will upload a powerpoint my lecturer gave us describing how we should structure our essay, have a look.
The essay needs to be in a microsoft word document. The essay itself is 2000 words, I will need a bibliography of all sources used as well. The number of sources is just a guideline, if you feel 6 is a little too many or too little you can go up or down one or two, but please don’t take the mick! Internet sources are not really acceptable, so please do not use them. I will also upload a module handbook with a reading list for the module, it may help.
Thank you very much!
