research an event that illustrated one or more of the divisions that culminated in the Civil War. Over the next few weeks we will examine a number of events that led up to the Civil War. Do you think that there was a point at which the Civil War was inevitable? A successful answer will involve correctly identifying and explaining the significance of (Missouri Compromise, Kansas-Nebraska Act, Election of 1860, etc) and what role you think that each event played (or didn’t).
