Paper instructions:
2. Opportunity 2: Read the Mathematicians Lament. It is a fairly intriguing article with unconventional views on Mathematics education. Also containing interesting Trig tidbits and some Mathematics history. If you choose this extra credit option you will need to:

a) Give a summary of the article (about 1 page). Just include the main points in the article from the author’s perspective. Be sure to show that you did in fact read it thouroughly. It is an easy read in    the sense that it is interesting (in my opinion)

b) Write about a page on your view points and opinions about the author’s statments. Be sure to fully explain your reasons in a professional, logical, and clear manner.

c) Keep in mind your writing should be clear and succint containg a proper introduction, body, and conclustion. The paper in general should be 2-3 pages, double spaced, 12pt font in Times New Roman or Cambri.
