dystopia newspaper
This order include two parts. The first part is a newspaper. The second part is a Companion Essay. This two parts are related. The Companion Essay is based on the newspaper.
The first part should be 3 pages of newspaper posts.
The theme of the newspaper posts is Dystopia. Please write 5-6 newspaper posts and one op-ed according to this proposal.including writing selected topics on social issues relevant to social work. It will entail writing letters the editor on the section of op-eds covering wide-range of topics within the realm of social work.
The second part is a Companion Essay.
This should ultimately be about 3pgs in MLA Format and include a works cited page (also some of your sources used for this should appear in your final annotated bibliography)
Things to consider/include in the essay:
The reflection should analyze how well you selected your audience (does your selected audience make sense for your topic?) and how effectively you appealed to your audience (did the rhetorical choices you made actually suit the audience you were trying to reach?)
What rhetorical choices did you make in creating your project and how effective were those?
Does your project have a real purpose/present a real message? Is this message at least loosely related to our class theme of dystopia? Does the project do an effective job of conveying that message?
Does your project demonstrate an understanding of the medium and genre you chose to work within?
Brief reflective component: what would you do differently if given another chance on this? what were some of the challenges of the project?
