Topic: Dystopia Defined

Dystopia Defined €“ With this paper, you will construct, through analysis of 2-3 different dystopian texts, what constitutes a dystopia; that is, you will address what comprises and defines dystopia and/or dystopian literature/texts. Additional questions to think about: What is so appealing about the dystopia? What role does a dystopian society play as we examine contemporary (American? Western? Etc.) cultures? Use examples from movies such as The Hunger Games and I am Legend
