Weight loss is achieved through negative energy balance. Discuss the differences between HOW a calorie is lost to diet and HOW a calorie is lost to exercise as they relate to the dynamic energy balance equation.
TDEE(energy balance equation)
Rate of change of energy stores = rate of change of energy intake – rate of change of energy expenditure
–>I understand the principle of the equation but exactly how are calories lost in regards to diet??
–>I understand that a “calorie lost to exercise” in essence is broken down to form ATP and that this lost calorie is considered at the right side of the equation (rate of change of energy expenditure).
