The authors of the article focused their research on the children with Down syndrome and formulated a way randomized controlled trial would be employed in antioxidants and folic acids. The authors wanted to improve the language of young children. Presentation of the article is well organized, and that makes me interested in reading. The target group that the authors, chose were right as the disease need to be identified at an earlier stage. The babies in the study required additional antioxidants and folic acid. I understand that many manufacturers’ products have a high level of antioxidants and folic, including a range of several other vitamins and minerals. The focus of this article is to discuss the necessity of using folic acid for babies.
I like the discussion about the relationship between Down’s syndrome and the flow of blood among the genotype people. The study indicates that there must be an unidentified change in the internal milieu that is responsible for stimulating changes that shape populations of red blood cells. Therefore, I would recommend those people working in the field of Down’s syndrome to use the observation from the study to advance their findings in analyzing blood flow using SPECT or they employ the use of laser Doppler Flowmetry. From the study article, the samples were collected in a constituency manner since the methodology of a randomized trial are easy to handle and manage data giving a wider range of outcomes. For example, there is enough evidence that shows red blood cells among the children changes with environment.
In addition, it might be argued that induced therapy increased the intake of vitamin and minerals. However, there was no reason to respond to the excess supplements since it could result in benefiting all. What I did not like about the article is using babies in the study and subjecting them to additional antioxidants, that was unnecessary because the therapy has not been proven to be effective.
