Determine the input torque required at the winch to enable it to lift safely a mass of 1 Tonne.
Replot the characteristic curve for the motor as a torque-speed curve and from this determine the maximum torque developed by the motor and the speed at which this occurs. Using this maximum torque and associated speed, and assuming an overall efficiency of 84% for the reduction gearbox, determine the gear ratio required to enable the winch to lift the required load.
