Topic: Designing a Safety System
Order Description
Designing a Safety System
The process of assessing safety is essential in any organization and, therefore, a number of components would be expected to be present to prevent accidents or injury.
In relation to one identified hazard in your organization or an organization with which you are familiar, list these components and construct an outline and diagram of
what your safety system would comprise and how it would work. You also need to ensure that you have allocated resources to each section of the system.
Include in your business report not only practical measures to prevent accidents, but also less obvious elements such as the collection of near-miss data. The business
report should be no more than 1,800 words and should:
• Identify and discuss the components that could influence injury.
• Outline and define risk, hazard, and accident as basic to your answer.
• Identify what resources would be needed to address safe practice in relation to this hazard.
• Propose a possible management plan to integrate any safety system you propose.
The business report needs to be fully referenced with an appropriate bibliography.
This assignment should follow a structured approach and should be prepared and presented as a professional business report of approximately 1,800 words and will be
marked according to the Glion Assessment Grid.
Please be sure that the final submission adheres to APA formatting standards.
