COIS 2830 Assignment 4.
As with assignment 2, this assignment has two parts, each worth 10%.
EVERYONE DOES PART A
A: Website part: You are to update and finalize your website using HTML and CSS. You should make use of whatever features you need to make a well-designed website, keep in mind aesthetic and functional choices. In addition, you should create 3 different CSS files and apply them to your Assignment 2 (or the whole website) feel free to copy and paste to A2v1.html, A2v2.html or the like each of these style sheets should be different. At least one should be sensible, one should use columns and ideally one would be silly (feel free to do everything wrong and elements overlap and have it be completely unreadable or the like). I recommend reading chapter 18 of the Duckett book on the process and design for making your website. /10.DO EITHER B OR C BUT NOT BOTH
For either B or CYou should make a video presenting and discussing either A: as a guide to the game level/area/quest etc. that you made, or as a Guide on how to make the 3D model that you did, target the video as though this was a tutorial for highschool kids seeing this for the first time. You should find a way to showcase your design on your website including pictures and a link to the video. /10.B: Make a level in a video game (obvious choices are Skyrim, Fallout 3 (or New Vegas) Star Trek Online, Neverwinter, or anything else you can think of). Its up to you to present the level to me in a video. You could make a level for dungeons and dragons on paper as well, but wrapping your head around D&D mechanics takes time. You could use a camera to record you in front of a the computer talking about the level you made, or do an actual video capture stream.C: The other option is to make a model for use with the 3D printer in SC113. You can even get your model printed out (cost is minimal) though that is not required. The 3D model that you make must have at least 10 parts (that includes say let or arm sections, a main body, extruded bits, decals or the like).
