The critical management studies rely on organization society and the behavior from different parts of Australia, British in the school of accounting. The theory explained the marketing relationships with more standard forms of Marxism, the formation of alternative forms of development and the likelihood of social transforming within the school of businesses (Tadajewski, Maclaran, Parsons &Parker, 2011, p. 70).
The critical theory applies the knowledge of social sciences and humanities to assess the reflective critiques of society and culture. Developed in 1930 in Germany from the neo-Marxist philosophy of the Frankfurt school, the critical theory draws from the Karl Marx and Sigmund Freud and maintains the ideology of human liberation. The social theory tends to critique the changing society as a whole, indistinguishable from the traditional society that aimed only in understanding or explaining the society. Horkheimer wanted to show that the critical theory was an emancipatory and radical of the Marxism theory by further critiquing the social science models put across by logical positivism. He and his other theorist saw viewed as the covert positivism and the concept of authoritarianism of the orthodox Communism and Marxism (Tadajewski, Maclaran, Parsons &Parker, 2011, p. 90).
The critical theory established two-core concepts; the theory should encompass totality of the society in its historical specificity. The theory also helps in understanding the society more through integration of all main social sciences which include historical, political science, sociology, economics and geography. However, the critical theory is different from other theory due to the characteristic elaborated by Horkheimer and Adorno in the Dialectic of Enlightenment involving the foundation of social domination and the emergence of pessimism and the human emancipation (Tadajewski, Maclaran, Parsons &Parker, 2011, p. 91).
However, the most prevalent implication of the critical theory is the failure to engage in genuine ethical and political argument by offering reasonable alternatives to capitalism and positivist science. On the other hand, the critical theory has an influence on feminism and green movement by identifying the structure of the patriarchal and the industrial thought. The critical theory attempts to explain the dogmatic claims to the society knowledge and the postmodern skepticism (Tadajewski, Maclaran, Parsons &Parker, 2011, p. 92).
