Cost of space exploration IS IT WORTH IT?

The dinosaurs became extinct because they didn’t have a space program. And if we become extinct because we don’t have a space program, it’ll serve us right! Larry Niven.
Yes, NASA’s expenditures on space exploration is worth it. There are many reasons why NASA’s expenditures are worth it. For example, earth is reaching its carrying capacity, earth will not be habitable forever, and NASA’s space exploration is improving our universal knowledge. There is no doubt that NASA’s expenditures are worth it.
The first reason that we should keep funding NASA is the earth is reaching its carrying capacity. Earth will be home to roughly 9 billion people in 2050 and a stable 10 billion at the century’s end. Earth’s maximum carrying capacity is roughly 10 billion people. Earth’s carrying capacity is 10 billion when it comes to the amount of food we have. Unless we want to die of starvation, we should keep funding NASA.
The second reason it is important for us to keep funding is the earth is not going to be habitable forever. The earth will only be habitable for about 1.75-3.25 billion more years. Our Ozone is getting destroyed because of all the chlorine atoms that we are releasing into the air. As of 2012, there are 7.046 billion people on the earth that are releasing all these chlorine atoms into our Ozone layer.
Another reason we should keep funding them is they are improving our universal knowledge. They are improving our economic prosperity. They are also improving our health, safety, and security. They have provided new information that has deepened our understanding and gave us a new perspective on humankind’s individual and collective place in the universe. They are improving our universal knowledge.
Yes, there are people who believe differently, but obviously they don’t understand that the earth is changing. However, this argument has no merit. The earth is changing and people have to accept that. Therefore, we should keep funding NASA’s space exploration.
Yes, funding NASA is definitely worth it. They have greatly improved our knowledge. They are continuously looking for another planet like earth so we don’t take a risk of over population. They are trying to help us and they can’t without money. They need funding to help us. Funding NASA is absolutely worth it.
