Write a four to five page essay arguing a controversial position: Start with what you have already learned about the issue and the debate surrounding it, and then take a position. Present the issue so readers recognize that it merits their attention, and develop a well-supported argument that will confirm, challenge, or change your readers’ views. Use the thesis and bibliography that you generated in Week 10 and 11 and work through the Guide to Writing (274-291) to develop and edit your final draft. Remember you are required to use the Writing Center on your paper and should have incorporated that feedback into your paper already. Submit your clean and well edited MLA style paper to Blackboard by April 10th.
