Project description
construct your own original afterlife. Please note: This isn’t about what afterlife you believe inYou do not have to BELIEVE in this afterlife. Rather, you’re being asked to creatively envision a new one, a version that, to the best of your knowledge, never before existed or was followed by a religious group.

Over the course of 5-6 pages, detail the various stages/locations of your afterlife’s topography. Ideally, you’d be explaining your afterlife in terms of others you have read (i.e. in the novels, in the Cowar chapters, in the assigned online reading). So, you can do a mash-up” afterlife so long as you are clearly citing your sources in MLA format.

In addition to your afterlife’s topography, also discuss what function each part of your afterlife has as well as what it’s overall function is. Is your afterlife a reward? A learning opportunity? A process before returning to mortal life, reincarnated? A new universe? Challenge yourself to think deeply about what the afterlife CAN do, and then what you choose to envisage it doing.
