Gender identity is a combination of both biological and psychological factors. Culture, ethics, religion, and personal belief systems play a significant role in the acceptance, or non-acceptance, of gender identity. Compare and contrast the biological and psychological components of gender identity and identify the component that most closely reflects your personal opinion of gender identity. Utilize a minimum of one outside scholarly reference in addition to the textbook to support your answer. Please review sections 3.12-3.13 (pp. 72-75) in your APA Manual, 6th Edition prior to posting.
