Comparative Analysis
For your final submission, you are expected to finalize the comparison of the two different approaches presented in two major reference books, which you have been working on for the last two assignments:
1) Learning from Las Vegas by Robert Venturi, Denise Scott Brown and Steven Izenour (2nd ed-Revised version in 1977. The full title: Learning from Las Vegas: The Forgotten Symbolism of Architectural Form, MIT Press)
2) Architecture and the City by Aldo Rossi, Opposition Books, 1984(paperback)original publication date is 1966
This assignment targets clear analysis of the complex characteristic of the city. Your comparison is not limited to but may include below areas, as you focused in each source during the previous steps:
