Research a cultural, social or historical topic from the early 1900s through WWII.
WRITE: RESEARCH AND CREATE A REPORT: (100 pts)
1.Research background material on the history of birth control, history of anesthesia, Trench Warfare in WWI, nerve gas as a weapon, history of

carnivals in the late 1800s and early 1900s, history of abortion, orphans at the turn of the century, orphan train, orphanages, venereal diseases at

the turn of the century, history of migrant workers at the turn of the century, history of prostitution, history of logging in the northeast, medical

training in the 19th century.

2.Create a two page report on one topic from the list above or one of your own choosing.
3. Include in-text citations and a bibliography or reference page identifying the resources you used to create your report.
When you use specific facts and dates, etc, that most would not know as a part of their general knowledge, then you need to include an in-text

citation to indicate where you located the information used in your paper. Also, follow correct formatting of your resources. MLA resource formatting

guide is offered within the module as well as in the Web links on the left hand menu. After you complete your research, close your notebook and

resources and write your paper. When you have to return to the resource or notes to gain specific information, then include a citation. If you copy

the material from your source, enclose that wording in quotation marks AND include an in-text citation. If you paraphrase the content, then include

an in-text citation. Finally, there is no need to number your resources.
