1. Why did you choose this article?
I chose this article to link between the change management as
concept and the applying of it in real life. I want to learn about
its benefits in one of UAE’s Organization. In addition, I want to
go through t the steps of its implementation, the difficulties
and the final results.
2. What did you learn from reading it?
I learnt that Dubai Taxi corporation at Road and transport
Authority was aware to the importance of change management
method to upgrade the performance level of employees and it
created a change in the strategic path, organization chart,
employees and process of DTC. Applying change management
system helped to encourage drivers and other employees to
adopt successful work programs. So, change management
process is an effective way to change employees’ performance
and attitude towards their job and they will be more creative to
come with new ideas to keep pace with the global trends
