1. The statement is made in the text that being ethical is not always good business. What argument is used to support this position? Do you agree or disagree with this position? chapter 7
2. Why do people generally view themselves as more ethical than their colleagues? What behavioral characteristics are important in this phenomenon? Which view do you believe is most realistic?
3. Do you agree with the proposition that questions about corporation governance arise more from fundamental conflicts with democratic values than specific abuse of power? What specific conflicts exist between the way in which corporation is run and the principles of a democratic society?
5. Do you think business is abusing their power with respect to invasion of privacy of consumers? Is surveillance of consumers in the market place a fair practice? Which particular practice do you think is the most questionable?
6. What does corporate accountability mean to you? How important is corporate political transparency? What are the limits of corporate political strategy? Are there lines that companies should not cross? If so, why are they?
All of these question must be answered in bullet not in essay format. The reference text book is Business and Society 9th edition from chapter 1-10 only. Each question must be answer separately and at least no less than two pages for each question. The most important this is the questions must be answered and no run around or repetition of the same sentence on and on.
