Details: This is for my son who is in the 8th grade. He is not in High School. Please do the following: You will be writing about an event that truly defines you. You must write about a single event from your life that has changed you/impacted your life. My son likes hunting. 1. Identify a significant incident from your life that you can recall ( event occurring over a relatively short period of time. Write a sentence or two briefly telling about the incident. 2. In one sentence, tell why this incident was significant to you. 3. Recall the scene- who was there, where did it occur, what did you hear, see, smell, etc. at the scene. describe it so others would feel that they were there. ( this pass weekend my son went youth hunting with his dad to Mountain, Wi , he shot his first deer a nubbin buck. It was an exciting event. He was so happy. He learned patience, safety,gutting it, tag it and register it. He wants to go again in November with his dad. I went along too. i didn’t do the hunting part, it was raining and foggy but made sure that they were fed and clothes were cleaned. It was a very relaxing weekend.) 4.
