Article Critique on Biasness The article 8 For-Profit Colleges collect More Than $1-Billion in Veterans’ Education Benefits by Collin Eaton was plainly biased with regard to the statistics given. The article was published in The Chronicle on 22nd September, 2011. A quick summary of the article follows, and then the biasness within the article is pointed out. In the article the author indicated that the colleges had accumulated 1.02 billion dollars in total, in terms of benefits for the education of veterans (Eaton, para. 1). It was indicated that more than 23% of the benefits had been disbursed as shown in a report by the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee (SHELP).
