Art of war by Sun Tzu
Each student will select, read and prepare a book report on a current book (i.e., nothing older than the year 2000) focused on one or more areas of Organizational Behavior covered in the course (see the textbook index for topic ideas). The book must be approved by the instructor before the student can begin. The report should be written as if the student is critiquing the book for other course participants. The report shall include as a minimum, the following content sections:
An introduction to the book, author and topic including information about why the book was written (e.g., what makes this book different than any other book on the same topic),
A detailed discussion of at least five main points of the book,
A discussion of how some or all of the main points covered are associated with effective Organizational Behavior, linking those points to models or theories discussed in the textbook,
A discussion about what other authors say about this topic (e.g., do other authors agree or disagree with the book author and why), and
A conclusion explaining how the book is, or is not helpful to business professionals.
