Argue that Japan should have offered the Asian nations it invaded in WWII help in rebuilding from the occupation. However, make the point that it could not do so immediately after the war as it was financially exhausted, and making them pay would make them a very unstable state.

Write that Japan was not entirely responsible for its need to involve itself in WWII because it was acting out of its own interests of having market share and acquiring natural resources. However, include that Japan?s mistake was that it did NOT exhaust all other means of achieving these goals peacefully.
