Approach to Managing Projects – professional report

Approach to Managing Projects – professional report

Order Description
It is essential that project managers have a clear strategy and approach as to how they will manage projects. Without a clear approach at the outset of a project there is little chance that the project management will function or operate effectively, it will become a series of loosely connected activities
that is reactive rather than pro-active. Projects that have a clear approach and strategy have an integrated focused organisation and are significantly more successful. It is therefore an essential part of the development of your individual approach to management that you consider and develop how you will manage projects.

Scenario
The clients for a project have provisionally appointed you to manage their project, before confirming the appointment they would like to be confident that you will be successful. The final appointment will be discussed and confirmed at a meeting of the Board of Directors. In order to make their decision, the
Board of Directors have asked you to submit a report that explaining how you propose to manage the project.

Write a proposal (in the form of a professional report) to the Board of Directors that sets out your personal approach to management, your project strategy and how you propose to manage the project.
