Applying Learning Theories to Behavior

Review the possible behavioral situations listed below. Choose one of them and apply one of the learning theories that best enables you to change or learn a new behavior. Be sure to include the basic components of the learning theory you have chosen and explain step by step how you would apply it to the situation.

Possible behavioral situations:

An adult is having a hard time sleeping at night.
Two siblings are arguing and fighting over toys.
An adult wants to start a new wellness plan to include nutrition and exercise.
A teenager is trying to quit playing video games.
A son wants to learn how to make his mom’s favorite apple pie.
