making, of individuals in a business environment. Briefly describe why it is important to understand
agency theory as both an employee and an owner.
2. Management and the Dominance of Managers
Are as many layers of management necessary to today’s organizations? Briefly discuss why or why not
and what role is to be played by management in a modern organization.
