The written/oral assignment will be a research paper discussing the relevancy of Science in our World today. Under the umbrella term Science you may choose a topic in any of the Natural Sciences such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, Geology, Medicine, Environmental Science etc. The format of the essay will be “EXPOSITORY” in nature. For a description of an “Expository Essay”, please read the explanation provided in your Course Documents in CANVAS. Within the research paper you should discuss the impact that the principal scientist made to the topic and discuss the utilization of the scientific method to verify the scientist’s hypothesis. You should discuss how the topic/scientist has impacted society from a past, present and future perspective.

The paper will be 1500 – 3000 words (4-5 pages) in length, double-spaced, 12 point Times New Roman font, using APA format. The papers must be submitted to “Turnitin” through “CANVAS” by Nov. 17, 2019. Papers received late will have credit deducted according to the date received.
