Analysis of a Research

Analysis of a Research
Project instructions:
You can treat each of the following numbers (1-6) as a separate paragraph. So in the end, there should be 6 paragraphs.

Your 3-page critical analysis should be in essay form, and should answer the following questions, with examples (including quotes) from your research paper:
1. How do you shape your argument toward your assigned audience type? Address organization (including outline type), amount of background information, amount of counterargumentation, how you establish relevance, whether you include a call to action, etc., and make sure you explain why your choices are appropriate to your audience’s needs.
2. How well do you use evidence to support your claims? Explain with examples from your paper. Do you support your claims with evidence from your sources? Is your evidence well-chosen?that is, relevant, persuasive, and taken from credible sources? Do you explain what your evidence demonstrates?
3. How well do you address counterarguments and opposing perspectives? Use examples. Do you do more concession or refutation? Do you fairly represent others’ perspectives? Do you argue against them effectively?
4. Give at least two specific examples of how you applied something you learned from your reading, from in-class lectures, or from previous assignments (or my feedback on them) within the paper.
5. Name at least one thing you wish you had done better, including an explanation of why what you have is ineffective and why what you wish you had done would have been more effective.
6. Name at least one thing that you’re really satisfied with, and explain why it’s effective.
