The Task:
This assignment is based on the acquisition of Cadbury by KRAFT FOODS
announced in January 2010.
To complete this task successfully I will need to gather data about
the organization and its environment, and to apply relevant theory to
that data. In applying relevant theory to the data I should develop a
critical line of reasoning in support of your argument.
The task has three elements that together should form a coherent piece
of work. Indicative allocation of marks between the three elements is
shown below.
1. What are the strategic issues facing the organization? (40%)
2. What goals should the organization be setting? (25%)
3. What strategy would you recommended for the organization?
And What actions would you recommended to develop that strategy? (35%)
