Healthy living is very important in our lives, which is achievable through a healthy diet, exercising, and taking medications whenever one falls sick. My health is my priority and that why I like taking healthy meals everyday especially the Native American foods. There are many types of foods indigenous to Americas, such as corn, tomatoes, vanilla, chocolate, rice, pumpkins, papaya, pineapple, potato, peanut, and many more. The foods make a very healthy diet for the American people, and the natives have several ways of preparing each of the foods to suit their family needs. Foods such as maize is preferable as a staple diet and making various corn products such as popcorns, corn powder, corn bread, and other products. The papayas, the avocados, the foods that I like most are corn, avocadoes, papaya, pumpkin, and tomatoes.
The foods I have listed are very vital for my health, and I have a large appetitive for them. I like corn because of its variety products, which I can prepare at home or buy the already manufactured ones in the supermarkets and food stores. Corn products, such as corn make me happy especially when watching footballgive me the energy I need in school. I also make avocado juice and pudding thrice a week to boost my health and appetite in addition to the health benefits such as my body immunity. I like pumpkin because of it delicious taste and its variety ways of preparation. I can use it as a main meal when boiled or us it powder to bake bread and cakes. The pumpkin products are very nutritious to my body, and this makes it be my man food almost every day. I also love its sweet taste especially when boiled with a little salt and taken with vegetable salad, such as tomatoes. Tomatoes form an important meal since I use them for my salads and food accompaniment during my meals.
However, I do not take two foods because I do not like their taste and texture. These foods are chocolate and peanuts, and I have my reasons for not taking them. First, I do not take chocolate because of its sweet taste as I do not like very sweet things in my diet. I also do not take vanilla because it makesis so bad that I opt to avoid them in my diet. Before buying any packed meals, I always ready the ingredients making it make sure that it does not contain vanilla.
My life would be terrible without some of the listed foods since they form an important part of my everyday diet. Without them, I would be weak and unhealthy as they provide me with the necessary nutrients that my body requires. Without popcorn, watching football would be very boring as I normally carry a few packets to share with my friends as we watch the local matches. Salads always give me a good feeling and improve my appetite, and this is why I prefer avocados and papayas as they make such a sweet combination. For the above reasons, American foods are fantastic ad everybody should incorporate them in their diet and enjoy a healthy living.
