•separation between the poor and the rich effecting education
•Rich can get the better teachers and updated textbooks
•Poor usually get the extra teachers and old textbooks
•Cause-> US relies on property taxes
•Alternative: Find a new way to pay for education or combine rich and poor schools

•students idea on education is different
-Half want to learn
-Half don’t like school and would rather work
•Alternative: Other countries (who have been rated smarter than the US) give students a choice of either going to highschool (highschool is similar to early college in America) or going to work.

•Some either have low qualifications or none
•Effects: Students do not learn as effectively
•Alternatives: Give teachers better benefits and set the qualifications higher
