A population of hawaiian drosophila has two alleles

A population of Hawaiian Drosophila has two alleles (M and m) of a particular gene. In a sample of 100 flies from this population, 3 were MM homozygotes, 60 were Mm heterozygotes, and 10 were mm homozygotes.

Perform a chi-square test, to test the hypothesis that the observed numbers of individuals in this sample are equivalent to the numbers expected for 100 individuals if the population were at Hardy Weinberg’s equilibrium.

1) Chi-square value =
2) __ > p value > __
