A physician’s ability to terminate his relationship with a patient is unlike any other relationship based on episodic contracts.

A physician”s ability to terminate his relationship with a patient is unlike any other relationship based on episodic contracts.  Given the uniqueness of the patient-physician relationship, the physician”s duties in termination do not adequately protect the patient.  Do you agree?  Discuss.

 

The current tort system fosters better physician practice than any alternate system for handling questions of professional practice.  Do you agree?  Discuss.
