The original group of Chinese included 32 men with the Rh-negative blood type (coded for by the genotype “dd”), and 148  Rh positive (indicating heterozygous “Dd” or homozygous “DD” genotypes). The Rh negative type is ostensibly absent in Native Americans (none of the women carried the”d” allele).
