Details: Please write a response to these questions for me. It is for an application. I have answers but I am finding it difficult putting it into words 1)-Have you lived (for three years or more) in communities which are medically underserved, or where the majority of the population is economically and/or educationally disadvantaged? I have lived in Nigeria for sixteen years. Please research and wite about how the community is considered medically underserved and is educationally disadvantaged ( for example right now schools are on strike and students haven’t been to school in months) 2)-Have you worked (volunteer or paid employment) with medically underserved, economically disadvantaged and/or educationally disadvantaged populations? I volunteered in hospitals in Nigeria when I was in high school. Please research how an experience like that would be like. If you read the primary application document I attached, you will also see I went on a medical mission trip to Costa Rica and I was part of a team that setup free clinics. Please write further on this experience. 3)- What are you currently doing or what do you plan to do in the next 9-12 months? I am now currently working or plan to work: In Biomedical or Clinical Research? I currently working as a research assistant for Center of Cancer System Biology GRI/TUSM. Here is the website for the place (http://cancer-systems-biology.org) Please also research this. I explain all this in the primary application too. I work for various researchers and assist and perform various experiments for them. The main goal of the research team I work with is to investigate and better understand the molecular and tissue-level events underlying cancer progression and development. It was said not to rewrite what was written in the primary application but you can expand on it.
