Youtube Assignment

Find, watch and evaluate 5 youtube videos that each focus on one (or more) of the ethical theories (such as utilitarianism, duty ethics or social contract theory) or ethical issues (such as abortion, euthanasia or capital punishment) that we are covering in this course. You don’t have to pick one topic for all of your videos.
For each video that you choose for your assignment, write a 2 paragraph evaluation.
The first paragraph should evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the video overall. For example, you could address the following questions:

Does the video contain interesting visuals, charts, diagrams, statistics?
Does the video feature a famous philosopher or one from our readings, or is the video featuring a non-expert?
Is the speaker eloquent or does the speaker present the material in a very clear and simple manner?
Basically, this paragraph gives a potential viewer a good idea of what to expect from watching the video and helps the reader decide whether to watch this video, rather than others.

The second paragraph should be your evaluation of the philosophical ideas presented in the video. For example, you could address the following questions:

How well did the video accurately convey information about the theory or topic?
Does the video present more than one perspective on the ideas, or does it strongly support one particular perspective?
What is the most interesting (thought provoking) idea presented in the video?
Do you agree with this idea? Why or why not?
