Understanding Social Responsibility in Business

Conduct research on an organization to which you are familiar such as fast food restaurants, hospitals, charity organizations, etc. Determine a social issue such as obesity, for example, and discuss the efforts of your chosen organization to address this issue. Include the following items:

· What is social responsibility?

· What does society expect from businesses?

· A brief background on your chosen organization

· The social issue and its connection to your chosen organization

This paper should be at least 1500 words in length and should meet APA guidelines (double-spacing, title page, etc.). At least two online university library sources should be used in conjunction with the textbook.
