Order Description

Assessment Task:
Students will complete a case study which discusses the provision and coordination of care linked to a real client they have cared for whilst on placement in their chosen specialty practice environment. This client will be selected with the assistance of clinical staff and/or guidance of your tutor or LIC.
Case study instructions
• Identify four (4) key nursing diagnoses related to caring for the patient/client in the specialty of your choice and arising from the assessment data and history provided; cite current, relevant reference sources;
• Formulate four (4) priorities of nursing care based on the nursing diagnoses chosen; cite current, relevant reference sources
• Discuss how you identified the nursing diagnoses and priorities of nursing care from your care of the patient/client, the assessment data and the client’s history; use an introduction and conclusion in this section
• Use evidence based practice information and relevant reference sources to justify the nursing care and your discussion points.
