This task requires students to:

€¢    Identify and critically discuss the influence of human factors on human performance €¨in healthcare from a safety and quality perspective from the literature and / or their workplace experiences

1-    Content and relevance of analysis and discussion: 15 marks
*Critical discussion of human error theory and appraisal and synthesis of the literature on common human factors impacting staff performance from a quality and safety perspective
*Outstanding answer. Very clear understanding and appreciation of human error theory and common human factors impacting staff performance from a quality and safety perspective
*Shows critical insights into the topic and draws appropriate conclusions.
2-  Critical use of literature: 15 marks
*Answer based on extensive reading. Resource material highly relevant to topic, evidence of critical analysis and synthesis of information.
*Uses relevant resource material from the recommended readings and other appropriate resources in a critical manner
3- Structure and Development of assignment, language and grammar: 5 marks
*Clear introduction including a thesis statement, a main body clearly divided into sections with suitable paragraphing and a clear conclusion.
