Order Description
The papers should run about 5-7 pages, including tables and charts and an executive summary. They should be structured as what are called policy-briefs or issue-briefs. These are short, succinct issue-centered papers that maintain a strong focus on providing factual information and summarizing pro/con policy positions. They are written by legislative staff, non-profit advocacy groups, think tanks and lobbyists and are intended to be useful to busy policy-makers trying to understand a topic and make a decision.

The question of the essay is: Choose four countries (hat fund education on state and local level, not on a national level (mix countries between developing and advanced countries ) and explain how education was funded and what is the outcome of increasing funding and spending on education? Does grant a better outcome? And compare them to Education funding in the US (just new England states only)

Also, I want these numbers and charts and info on a powerpoint presentation along with the essay. The audience is expected to be aiming to policy makers; the presentation should take 7-10 min.

The structure of the presentation should be

1- importance of education on state and local level
2- why should care about education?
3- support the argument based on charts, facts, and figures on countries (4 countries) that fund education on the state and local compared to new England states in the US discussed in the essay.
4- how the New England states do compared to other nations?
5- conclusion and suggestions
