The Holocaust and the Vatican
Focus on and thoroughly examine Pope Pius XII’s role during the Holocaust, the fact (in my opinion) he did NOT do enough, while mentioning the work of some good churchmen the fundamental argument is that he did not do enough.
From his position in 1930 as Secretary of State (did he bear any anti-Semitic sentiments, his subordinates that showed anti-Semitic tendencies in some of the occupied countries, was he aware of Pius XI’s encyclical Humani generis unitas that never saw the light of day, how his character and personality affected the Church )
and his silence at the End of the war and afterward.
