Case Study Evaluation Final Draft
For this assignment, write a case study evaluation of material that will be useful in putting together your recommendation proposal later in the course. Fry, et al (1999) describe a case study as complex examples which give an insight into the context of a problem as well as illustrating the main point. As I noted in the Week 3 Lecture, your focus should be illustrative in nature and should describe your problem/issue with in-depth examples. In other words, you will:
1. Introduce and describe the problem or issue that you plan to investigate: As I mentioned earlier, this may be a problem or issue from any field (business, technology, science, community, environment, etc). Your introduction should clearly state what your project will be and why it is important.
2. Arrange and analyze the information you have found that will provide the case study portion of the assignment. Some case studies can run into dozens of pages, but for this assignment we need not be so grandiose. Two or three cases should be sufficient material for this assignment. Make sure that you show clearly how these cases relate to your own proposed plan.
3. Write a conclusion based on the case material and the expected outcome of your own recommendation. Your conclusion should synthesize the cases you have found with the ideas and expectations you have for your recommendation proposal.
