Scenario: The Director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy (aka, “the Drug Czar”) has asked for citizen input on overhauling our nation’s drug policy. What would you recommend the agency consider?

Considerations: Be sure that your response addresses the effectiveness of the “War on Drugs.” If the policy you propose marks a departure from current U.S. policy, explain why you propose a change of course. If the policy you propose is very similar to what is currently in place, explain why you think the current course is effective.

Your paper should be 1-2 pages in length, double spaced. You need to cite the textbook and at least one additional source. Be sure to answer all parts of the question.
