Telecommuting is as a result of technological advancements in an organization or a company. Telecommuting has changed the working system of the workers in the organization. Employees work outside their offices maybe on the roads or seated back home on their couch. Telecommuting is all about communicating with the employer on the phone, connecting a modem to an office frame and doing the work. Telecommuting though has come with its advantages where it benefits both the employer and the employees. In this essay I will discuss how telecommunication helps the human resource management.     The employer benefits from the telecommuting system in a number of ways. A higher level of output is noticed. It is because the employees work under minimal or no interruption. The employees in the organization are always happy. Happiness among the employees strengthens the relationship between them and the employer (Haberman, 2010).The employer enlarges the application field since it is not a must that the employees are in the same city with the company. The employee also finds it simple to get the talent that is needed in a certain field to improve its operation. The employer also is able to avoid the relocation costs.     The employees also have their own advantages that come with improvement in the technological sector. They are able to pay more attention to their work, avoid time wasting in traffic and saves money (Haberman, 2010). This is because there are reduced services on their vehicles. The general benefit is that the employees save a lot of money since a lot of expenses have been deducted.     In conclusion it’s worth an advice to a human resource manager to improve the technology of the company and implement the telecommuting system. Telecommuting does not benefit the employer and the employees only but the society as a whole.
