Sustainability Criteria

Research issues related to sustainability in different areas like agriculture, forestry, water, energy, industry, etc. (even in business education!) with appropriate references.  What do you think will be the biggest challenge to sustaining our quality of life in the future?  What steps need to be taken by communities, companies, congress?

You should read articles and reports on the internet and summarize them in 2-3 sentences and place the citation in parenthesis. Do not cut and paste. Mashups from YouTube are fine, adding your own voice commentary is great, attaching an *.avi or *.mpeg videos are excellent.  Post your view in a new thread if no one else has a similar thread. If someone has a similar thread, then post in it – do not duplicate.
