1: Write your own definitions for the terms: religious and spiritual.
2: Find 2 works of art that best expresses your definitions of these terms.
3: Write a short paragraph describing the similarities and differences in the meanings of the terms and in the imagery you select.

2) Collections Research

Other than your own—find out more about the spiritual beliefs/values of another culture or religion. identify at least 3 key/significant ideas and related examples of how these ideas are represented in the material culture— items such as: buildings, images, symbols, sculpture, place/settings, clothing, artifacts/objects, rituals/activities.

post on the designated Course Collections Blog:A range of 3 different visual representations and briefly tell us how they reflect the values/beliefs of the culture or religion you researched.
