Your assignment is to listen to the RadioLab podcast entitled “The Primitive Streak” and report on the story below. The podcast is 30 minutes and can be played through the website below or streamed on any devise at your leisure.

This is a writing assignment. To get full credit you must use full, complete, coherent sentences, proper grammar, and correct spelling. Each paragraph should be fully developed and at least 5 sentences long.

1. Summarize the content of the podcast in 1-3 paragraphs – what are the main points or arguments made? Who is in the discussion?

2. Provide at least one paragraph of your personal response to the story – what are your thoughts?

3. Discuss the story with someone in the class – was your response similar to theirs? In what way were they similar or different?
